Icebreaker Aurora
Aurora is an impressive icebreaker vessel capable of breaking and navigating through drift ice from the northern waters. If you're lucky, you'll even get to see seals perched on one of the ice blocks.

The roadside station adjacent to Bihoro Pass, which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the frozen Lake Kussharo covered in white ice, is also a popular spot.

Visit Cape Notoro, a popular spot in Abashiri that cannot be reached via public transportation. The view of the Sea of Okhotsk covered with drift ice is spectacular!

If you wish, you can alight and visit the Abashiri Prison Museum, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Abashiri.
